“Together Again” Beth Moulton 1922-2010

Our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend, Ella Beth Shelton Moulton, passed away peacefully at home August 22, 2010 surrounded by family. She is once again reunited with her beloved husband, Roy D. “Dick” Moulton, parents, brother and sisters whom she loved and longed for. Beth was born to Charles A and Maud Ella Watson Shelton on December 31, 1922 in Castle Gate, Utah in a tent. These tough beginnings surely gave her the mettle she displayed during the hard times in her life, and in the illness that took her.

She and Dick were married on August 27, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom nurtured her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids with devotion. She served faithfully in her church callings from presidencies to the nursery, and was a valiant visiting teacher. She was an extraordinary cook and loved to share her cinnamon rolls, baked with love in every bite. She loved her garden and shared her produce, flowers, and seeds freely. Mom enjoyed her nursing career and worked well into her 70's. She was legendary in her service to her patients, the homeless, and anyone in need.

Beth is survived by her loving children, Roy (Dottie) Moulton of Kuna, Idaho; Lucy (Guy) Scribner of Salt Lake City, Utah; Nancy (Randy) Daybell of Centreville, Virginia; and Grant (Shawna) Moulton of Fallon, Nevada. Grandchildren Laura, Mark, James, Ben, Annie, Zachary, Dan, Linsey, Jordan, Jeffrey, Hannah, William, Shayla, Shalese, Jacob, Josh, and Sharah. Great Grandchildren Coen, Sylvie, Savannah, Zach, Dawson, Dylan and Emma. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, both parents, brother Grant Shelton and sisters, Jeanne Fitzgerald and Mary Lou Shelton.
